The logistics and supply chain industry faces multiple challenges that hinder efficiency and cost-effectiveness:
The development of DTLP involved addressing complex challenges in integrating diverse information systems and creating a unified digital platform for participants in international transport corridors. Key challenges during the development process included ensuring interoperability between various national and regional logistics platforms and addressing the fragmented communication among stakeholders in the supply chain.
To tackle these issues, CompleteSoft team focused on creating a data pipeline that connects transport modes (sea, rail, road, air) and bridges disparate systems across countries, particularly between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU).
One of the main objectives was to create a Corridor as a Service (CaaS) solution, which required overcoming technical and regulatory obstacles, as well as aligning with existing EU projects such as SELIS, AEOLIX, FENIX, and FEDeRATED.
The process also involved navigating the complexities of cross-border regulatory compliance, ensuring that the platform could support real-time data exchange between businesses and government entities like customs, and enabling seamless transmission of logistical information and documents. Overcoming these technical and operational challenges was critical in creating a flexible, scalable solution that meets the needs of diverse stakeholders in the global logistics chain.
DTLP acts as a Corridor as a Service solution by connecting national eLogistics platforms to create a digital transport corridor between the EU and EaEU regions. This boosts cross-border coordination and regulatory compliance.
